One of the goals of the CEC is to help make our building more green. Under this broad goal, we want to help increase the participation in the green bin program. The super (Abdo) assesses that only around 30% of the residents use the green bin now. Our goal is to increase this percentage to reach 80% and eventually 100%. Down the road using the green bin will be come mandatory in Ontario, so we better be proactive and begin contributing to diverting compostable from landfills.
We will design a creative fun, way to raise awareness about this opportunity (to divert from the landfills and help the environment).
